Seminole County Solid Waste Management station is where the West region of Seminole County brings its waste. The station receives about 2,500 tons of garbage daily, which is later transferred into large trailers before being transported to a nearby landfill. Recyclables, such as paper, cardboard, plastic, or glass, go into separate trucks and are transferred to a recycling facility. Yard trash is separated, too, and made into mulch.
